MobDis recently won the popular votes to secure a place in the top 50 of 2011’s Asia’s Top 50 Apps. Organised by Singtel Innovation Exchange (SiX) together with Accelerate@TECHVENTURE and powered by e27, the event came to a close on 14 October 2011. More than 160 nominees vied for this prestigious award. Over the period of less than a month, the nominees gathered more than 25000 votes in Facebook “Likes” and Google “+1”.
Asia’s Top 50 Apps is in its second year running. The event aims to highlight the changing trends and maturing of technology, business model, markets and talents in the region over the past year. It was indeed a pristine opportunity for MobDis to be discovered and recognized by the leaders of Asia’s technology leaders. With MobDis version 2.3 released in early October, the app promises to further raise rich media mobile advertising standards.
