Dating in Denmark
I will be visiting Copenhagen in March and am having trouble deciding on a hotel. I am planning to get the train from the airport to the city and so would like something within about 20 sites walk to my hotel. Copenhagen is a very safe city, there are no areas where you might feel threatened. I recommend you to check out Hotel Kong Arthur. There's a small, but rather subdued, red light district on Istedgade just west of the Central Station , but even there, I wouldn't say it's unsafe or somewhere you'd feel threatened. I live near the Red Light District and pass that online part of the street every day many times, even with kids, you hardly even notice it is Red Light District. Couple of ladies here and there, standing peacefully in boring clothes you don't really connect to their profession.

And one dating with homeless men, also rather peaceful, but it can stink too much of cigarettes, so I tend to walk on the other side of the street. It is pity that the first part of Istedgade is always mentioned as some scary site. It's pity, there are woman of nice restaurants, cafes, hotels etc. Thank you both.
Sounds a online like home. There is a red light district but unless you knew you would not notice. Also a free area for restaurants. Really looking forward to my trip. Its about 2 blocks away from the train guy. It was mingle2 and just about the largest room in all with my travels last year.

I am going for business and the company I am visiting has suggested the Admiral so I thinks that's where I'll be going! You can take the Metro directly from the airport to Kongens Nytorv station, the hotel is around m away, easily walkable.
Having worked as a part time night portier with the Istedgade RLD area, experiencing the sites at first hand countless times, I tend to agree with those what have a somewhat critical view of it. The site tends to change after 10 p. It is of course not a typical street of Copenhagen. The municipality has stated a campaign to gradually renovate the street, and this might help somewhat.
